1. Confirm the market and date

Choose US or HK and read the board date. Then select Daily or Weekly. Free previews have a three-exchange-session delay; they do not show a live market feed.

Keep the board date and signal date in your notes. Do not compare a delayed board with today's price without stating the difference.

2. Check the business and chart context

Read the company or fund description. Locate the signal candle and the earlier trend. Check support and resistance, which are price areas where buying or selling has previously appeared.

If the chart has an abrupt gap, check the instrument's announcements and corporate actions. A price jump alone does not identify its cause.

3. Write down what would weaken the setup

Record the displayed invalidation level and the reason for it. Invalidation means a condition that makes the original setup no longer valid. Do not treat the pattern's label or score as a guarantee.

Check recent trading value and the current spread. A high score does not remove trading costs or the risk of a poor fill.

4. Match the evidence

Open Backtests for the same pattern, direction, quality, timeframe, and holding period. Note the completed sample size, average return, and limits. Keep current-rule backtests separate from saved board history and journal outcomes.

5. Check AI output against its inputs

AI Ticker Review gives an additional chart-based view. Read its levels, risks, and invalidation notes. AI output can be wrong. Check important statements against the chart and original sources.

An on-demand ticker review does not automatically enter a trade in the journal or change the scanner's ranking.

6. Save the record, including failures

Pro members can download the selected Signal Desk board, Top Trades, Trade Journal, and backtest tables as CSV files. A completed AI Ticker Review can be saved as a PDF while its download remains available.

Write down why a setup failed as well as why it looked promising. Keep the original record separate from later notes. Do not edit an old result to make the method appear stronger.
